New traffic lights and turn lanes are among the proposed improvements along state Route 14.
COLUMBIANA -- The city is seeking public input about proposed road improvements on the north side.
City Manager Keith Chamberlin said the city is accepting comments in writing through March 6.
He said improvements are planned for the intersections of state Route 14 and state Route 164, Route 14 and state Route 46 and Route 164 and Main Street.
The proposed improvements include turning lanes, new traffic signals, curbing and miscellaneous drainage improvements.
Traffic will be maintained during the construction, which is to take place this summer.
The city is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental and economic impacts of the proposed project. Environmental impacts include such issues as architectural and archeological resources, ecological resources, hazardous materials locations and the general location of the project.
