CAMPUS NOTES In the spotlight

Kyle A. Vuchak has been selected as a participant in the "A Semester Almost Abroad" Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa for spring semester 2002. The program offers students the experience of a multicultural atmosphere as well as the opportunity to access a wide range of academic courses related to Asia and the Pacific. Vuchak is a 1999 graduate of Howland High School and a junior at Grove City, majoring in political science and business. His parents are Terri and Al Crabbs of Cortland and Alan and Chris Vuchak of Rock Hill, S.C.
Julia Navoyosky, a 2000 graduate of Salem High School, has been inducted into the YSU chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national honorary society. Navoyosky, daughter of David and Karen Navoyosky, is a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering.
Katie Stambaugh, a junior communications major at Thiel, has been invited to join the Alpha Iota Kappa chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honorary society. Stambaugh, president of Alpha Xi Delta sorority, is a 1999 graduate of Leetonia High School and the daughter of Dave and Sherrin Stambaugh of Leetonia.
Allyson M. Palombaro has been named chairwoman of the Judicial Board at Saint Mary's in Notre Dame, Ind. Palombaro is a junior at the college. She is a 1999 Cardinal Mooney High School graduate and is the daughter of Albert and Joyce Palombaro.
