Will her memoir becoming-out for Rosie?
NEW YORK -- In Rosie O'Donnell's upcoming memoir, talk TV's Queen of Nice talks about the death of her mother, being gay, her estrangement from her father... . Er, wait a second, rewind on that second item: Is Rosie officially coming out?
It sure looks that way, reports E!Online. In O'Donnell's "Find Me," due out April 23, the comedian talks about her relationships with women and having a girl breaking her heart in college.
O'Donnell's camp hasn't denied the reports. It hasn't confirmed them, either, opting to describe the book as a "personal journey." Her publisher, Warner Books, did not return a call for comment.
For many fans of the comedian, a "yes, I'm gay" statement wouldn't exactly qualify as a revelation. The tabs, of course, have been running stories on Rosie's "gay secret" for years. Even New York magazine got into the act last year, actually chiding her for not being more open about being a lesbian.

Cruise enters battlefor Scientology rights
BERLIN -- Tom Cruise, a well-known Scientologist, has asked the U.S. ambassador to Germany to seek support for the organization's fight with the German government.

The U.S. government, which has extended Scientology tax-free status as a religion since 1993, has criticized Germany's treatment of the Scientologists.
Embassy spokesman Mark Smith confirmed Wednesday that Cruise, 39, met with Ambassador Dan Coats for about 45 minutes, but he would not say what the two talked about. Cruise was in Berlin last week to promote "Vanilla Sky."
