Cynthia Dolph, a daughter of Barbara and Ronald Dolph of Columbiana, and Gregory Hood, a son of Donald and Janet Hood of Mineral Ridge are announcing their engagement.
Miss Dolph, a supervisor at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in biology.
Mr. Hood attended the University of Akron and is an assembler at the Lear Corp., Lordstown.
The couple have chosen Sept. 21 for their open wedding at 2 p.m. at Ohltown United Methodist Church in Mineral Ridge. They will extend invitations for an evening reception to be held at Mahoning Country Club, Girard.
