YOUNGSTOWN -- Chantel Pauline Saner and Mark Thomas Stoops, both of 177 Ocean Lane Drive, Key Biscayne, Fla., were united in marriage in a 2:30 p.m. July 13 ceremony solemnized by Monsignor Peter Polando at St. Columba Cathedral.
Parents of the bride are Cathy Krolczyk of San Antonio, Texas, and Clifford Saner, Rock Springs, Wyo. She graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo., with a bachelor's degree in elementary-special education and is employed at EquiFlor Corp. in Miami.
The groom is a son of Evelyn Stoops, 16 Milltrace Road, Boardman, and the late Ronald Stoops. He earned a degree in general studies from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, and is defensive football coach for the Miami Hurricanes at the University of Miami, Coral Gables., Fla.
The bride's strapless white silk gown was enhanced with beading and a hand-laced back.
Platinum gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Yvette Saner, and the bridesmaids, Tyana Bennett, her sister; Kori Ansay; Anita Cali; and Kathleen Drummond and Maureen Farragher, sisters of the groom.
Serving as best man was Ronald Stoops, the groom's brother, and groomsmen were Robert Stoops and Michael Stoops, his brothers; John Christopher; Peter Marciano; Eric Wolford; and Clifford Saner Jr., the bride's brother.
The couple live at the Key Biscayne address.
