ALYSON SALONMARC MARLIN
CLEVELAND -- Alyson Rachel Salon and Marc Bryan Marlin, both of 4701 Willard Ave., Chevy Chase, Md., exchanged marriage vows before Rabbi Stephen Weiss in a ceremony at 4:30 p.m. July 7 at Oakwood Country Club, which also was the site of a reception.
Parents of the bride are Joel and JoAnn Salon, 24049 Lyman Blvd., Shaker Heights. Richard and Ronna Marlin, 1302 Will-O-Wood Drive, Liberty, are the groom's parents.
The couple honeymooned in Greece, the Greek Isles and London.
The bride wore a duchess satin gown fashioned with a full A-line skirt and knotted blue taffeta sash that flowed to a chapel train.
She graduated from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communication with a bachelor's degree and will begin studies for a master's at George Washington University in September. She is a graphic designer with Education Week, Bethseda, Md.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan Business School. He is a financial analyst with International Finance Corp. of the World Bank Group, Washington, D.C. He begins studies this month for a master's at the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business of Georgetown University.
Honor attendant was Melissa Salon. Bridesmaids were Chaya Gordon Burstyn, Debbie Miller, Mia Kaminsky and Marni Sholiton. They wore light-blue and white dresses. Flower girl was Rachel Pikovsky.
Best man was Adam Schwebel. Groomsmen were Cory Dunn, Matthew Friedman, Neil Fink and Brett Schulman.
