Marine Corps reunion

YOUNGSTOWN -- Saturday is the reservation deadline for the 23rd annual Marine Corps reunion Aug. 17 at ITAM Post 3, 113 S. Meridian Road. The event is hosted by the Tri-State Marine Corps League Detachment. Tickets are $20 per person and can be reserved by calling Phil Snyder at (330) 758-6976 or Fran Griffiths at (330) 533-2314. All active duty, reserve, retired and former Marines and their guests are welcome. Speaker is Marine Lt. Col. John P. Mangold, commander of the 4th Landing Support Battalion, which includes a Marine reserve center in Ohio.

Meeting canceled

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mahoning County commissioners have canceled their regular meeting scheduled for Thursday. They will next meet at 10 a.m. Aug. 15 at the courthouse.
