NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Nuptial vows were exchanged July 13 at St. Paul the Apostle Church as Laurie Anne Magee and Edward Martin Repko, both of Westerville, were united in marriage during a 3 p.m. ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Nicholas Shori.
A reception was held in honor of the couple at the church hall, and afterward they left on a wedding trip to Nags Head, N.C.
The daughter of Dennis and Liz Magee, 43 Ward Ave., and the son of Ray and Josephine Repko, 1122 Inverness Ave., Youngstown, live at 91 Haddam Place E., Westerville.
The sleeveless ivory gown worn by the bride featured a V-neckline, beaded satin empire-style bodice and a silk chiffon skirt that flowed into a chapel train. She wore a veil and headpiece fashioned from those worn by her mother.
Cranberry-colored gowns were worn by the bride's sister and honor attendant, Shannon Magee, and the bridesmaids, Shari Clark and Kate Naveau.
The duties of best man were performed by Don Mazza, and groomsmen were Ben Wilson and Jim Bosker. Guests were ushered by the groom's brother, Ray Repko.
A teacher in reading and language arts at Olentangy Local Schools, Powell, the bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education and a master's in English.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in education at YSU and is a math teacher and football coach with Worthington Schools.
