LOWELLVILLE -- The board of education recently authorized temporary appropriations for the 2002-2003 fiscal year and approved supplemental and limited contracts for personnel.
The board voted 4-0 in favor of the $1.5 million temporary appropriations during the July 31 meeting.
The board also approved one-year limited contracts for the following personnel:
UCathy Russo, 10th-grade adviser -- $394; SADD adviser -- $263.
ULucy Bartlett, afternoon duty -- $919.
ULauren Shevetz, assistant volleyball coach -- $2,101.
UJustine Moore, junior varsity/varsity cheerleading coach -- $1,838.
UBob Ballone, cross country coach -- volunteer.
UTom Pelkington, golf coach -- volunteer.
One-year limited contracts with Margaret Evanson, Title I/Ohio Reads coordinator, and Jacqueline Wilson, science teacher, were also approved by the board, as were the resignations of Heather Moran, science teacher, and Candida DiMatteo, Italian teacher.
