Quota International holds convention

PITTSBURGH -- Quota International members from around the world met in Pittsburgh July 19-22 for the group's 81st annual convention.

Attending the event from the Youngstown chapter were Elaine Garde, president; Patricia Bonaquist, vice president; and Donna Primm, secretary-treasurer.

The convention featured meetings, seminars and training sessions as well as business sessions on various issues.

Founded in 1919, Quota International is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping the deaf and hearing-impaired as well as disadvantaged women and children.

The Youngstown Chapter will mark its 80th anniversary in November.
