YOUNGSTOWN -- Living in Boardman after a honeymoon at Las Vegas are Christopher M. Luka and his bride, the former Michelle R. Lodge, who were united in marriage June 29 at St. Dominic Church.
The couple's wedding took place at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Allen officiating.
Afterward a reception was held in their honor at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
Kevin and Debra Lodge of Boardman are parents of the bride. She holds an associate degree in applied science from Kent State University East Liverpool Campus and is a physical therapist assistant with Dr. Ronald and Susan Yarab in Poland.
The groom is a son of Ivana Luka of Boardman and the late George Luka. He is a deputy sheriff with Mahoning County Sheriff's Department.
Pearls, sequins and beading enhanced the bride's sleeveless, ivory, A-line gown. It featured a sweetheart neckline and was worn with a beaded choker.
Gowned in royal purple were the honor attendants, Ami Stackpole and Kristen Perry, and the bridesmaids, Lori Luka, sister of the groom; Melissa Brock; Christine Davis; and Heather Geiser. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Haley Holt.
Sharing the duties of best man were Andrew D'Apolito and Matthew Mingo. Groomsmen were Antonia Granta, the groom's cousin; Brian Brock; Steve D'Apolito and Mark Shane.
