TRUMBULL COUNTY FEDERATION OF SPORTSMEN CLUBS: May 4, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Trumbull Co. Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs will host a 50-gun drawing at Yankee Lake ballroom, on state Route 7 in Brookfield. Doors open at 9 a.m. with food served beginning at 11 a.m. From 11-4, every six minutes a gun winner will be drawn from the door prize ticket. Tickets are $20 a piece, and include one chance at the 50 guns, and lunch -- all you can eat roast beef sandwiches, side dishes and free beer and soft drinks. A number of other outdoor clubs from Trumbull and Mahoning counties will also be holding side raffles for additional guns, safes, money, boats, an ATV, bear hunts and many other prizes. All proceeds will benefit all sportsmen clubs participating in the event as well as 4-H, youth shooting teams and various other charitable causes.
