U Richard Duffett of Austintown, who is running for Mahoning County Republican chairman and was arrested on drug charges, is not a special education teacher in Mineral Ridge, according to Rocco D. Adduci, Weathersfield schools superintendent. Duffett is a substitute teacher who works in several Trumbull County schools, Adduci said. Duffett told The Vindicator last week that he was a special education teacher in Mineral Ridge.
