YOUNGTOWN -- The marriage of Lisa Ann Jeren, 8199 Burgess Lake Drive, Poland, and Brendan Patric Monaghan, 929 Auburn Hills Drive, Boardman, was solemnized March 16 at Youngstown Baptist Church by the Rev. Dave Watkins.
The ceremony took place at noon, and a reception was held afterward at the Grand Pavilion at Opus Twenty One in Warren.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and live at the groom's address.
Parents of the bride are John and Marjorie Jeren of the Poland address, and the groom is a son of Stephany Ander, 695 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, and Jeffry Monaghan, 39 La Paloma, Dana Point, Calif.
The bride wore a strapless A-line matt & eacute; satin gown enhanced with a beaded bodice.
Light-blue gowns were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Suzanne and Christine Jeren, and the bridesmaids, Melissa Walker, Tiffany Cass and Rebecca Klabunde.
Performing the duties of best man was Benjamin Durham, and serving as groomsmen were Joseph Wilson, Bradley Walker and the bride's brother, John Jeren.
A Spanish teacher with Austintown Local Schools, the bride graduated from Taylor University in Upland, Ind., with a bachelor's degree in education/Spanish.
The groom earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and is a consultant with Beard Pension Services.
