YOUNGSTOWN -- A family gathering was held April 20 at the Radisson Hotel in West Middlesex, Pa., in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Percy E. Jackson of Youngstown, who were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Arrangements for the event were made by the couple's family, Charlie Donaldson and Kristie and Sean Rogers, all of Austintown; Shirley and Roney Tucker and Debra Brown, all of Youngstown; and James Jackson of Pomona, Calif. The couple have 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The former Sarah C. Lewis and Mr. Jackson were united in marriage April 20, 1952, in Carrollton, Miss.

Mr. Jackson served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired in 1994 from U.S. Can Co.
