Published: Mon, April 15, 2002 @ 12:00 a.m.

YOUNGSTOWN -- A house fire Sunday afternoon at 14 Tod Lane killed John Chacon, 42, according to reports.

Marcia Chacon, no age given, was in critical condition this morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center. Neighbors smelled something burning Sunday morning and called the fire department about 1:30 p.m.

The fire started in the kitchen, according to reports. Police reported that every room on all three floors of the house was cluttered with merchandise, such as video games, tools, knives, swords, clothes, computers, stereos, TVs, loaded firearms and much more.

The arson bureau and city detectives are investigating.
