CHARTER SCHOOLS

The list grows

There are now six charter schools in Youngstown:

Eagle Heights Academy, Market Street, 893 pupils, opened fall 1998.

Legacy Academy, Oak Hill Avenue, 197 pupils, opened fall 2001.

Life Skills Center of Youngstown, Oakhill Renaissance Place, 228 pupils, opened fall 1998.

Youngstown Community School, Essex Street, 192 pupils, opened fall 1998.

Summit Academy Youngstown, Oakhill Renaissance Place, 75 pupils, opened fall 2001.

Mollie Kessler School, Wood Street, 40 to 65 pupils, will open in August.
