Cyrus anniversary to be observed at open reception

EAST PALESTINE -- An open reception will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. April 21 at the community center in East Palestine Park in celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cyrus, 347 W. High St.
The former Wilma Saviers and Mr. Cyrus were married on April 18, 1952, at the home of the bride in East Palestine.
Their family is composed of Barbara Greaves and Lee and Karen Cyrus, all of East Palestine, and Charles and Kim Cyrus of Mount Jackson, Pa. The couple have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Cyrus retired in July 1999 from American Paper Products in Boardman, where she was employed in the accounting office.
Her husband is a self-employed carpenter.
The couple are members of Centenary United Methodist Church.
