Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Terlesky mark their 70th wedding anniversary

STRUTHERS -- Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Terlesky of West Harvey Street celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Sept. 23 at their home.

Mr. Terlesky and the former Mary Betts were married Sept. 19, 1931, at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Church, where they are members.

He retired in 1972 from the Youngstown Police Department after 33 years of service. His wife is a homemaker.

Observing the occasion with the couple were their children and their spouses, Tom and Mary Ann Sweder of Struthers, Paul Terlesky of Howland, Ted and Mary Lou Terlesky of Youngstown, John and Linda Terlesky of Poland.

Their family also includes six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
