Published: Sun, September 16, 2001 @ 12:00 a.m.

CANFIELD -- The Crime Clinic of Greater Youngstown will celebrate its 50th anniversary during a dinner planned for Tuesday at Colonial Catering.

Guest speaker will be Harry Meshal, former state senator, who is a board member at Mill Creek Park.

The Crime Clinic was formed in 1951 by a group of law enforcement officials including the late Edward J. Allen, former Youngstown police chief. The organization has grown over the years and includes current and former law enforcement officers, lawyers, judges and private investigators.

Those attending will receive an anniversary gift. The dinner is restricted to members and their guests.
