Announcement is being made of the engagement of Shelli Slipkovich, daughter of Robert Slipkovich of Youngstown and Karen Valentini of Seven Fields, Pa., and Robert Stevens, son of John and Inge Stevens of Niles.
Miss Slipkovich graduated from Trumbull Memorial School of Radiology and is an MRI technologist at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
Her fiance is a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit College and is employed by the Kmart Distribution Center in Bazetta.
The couple are planning their wedding for Oct. 5 at St. Stephen Church in Niles and a reception to be held at Tiffany's Banquet Center in Brookfield.
