LORDSTOWN Apple Cider Festival The 18th annual event runs from Friday to Sunday at the Lordstown schools. The events schedule:

FRIDAY

10 a.m.: Henn Workshop tour.3 to 6 p.m.: Quilt show entries accepted, Gordon D. James Career Center.4 to 7 p.m.: Entries accepted from photography, fine, domestic and culinary arts, career center.4 to 7 p.m.: Lordstown Christian Church chicken dinner, career center.6 p.m.: Midway opens with rides by McGinnis Toles Amusement Co.8 p.m.: Apple Cider King and Queen pageant, career center.7 to 10 p.m.: Guys Without Ties, entertainment tent.

SATURDAY

9 a.m. to 8 p.m.: Smoke training trailer, sponsored by Lordstown Fire Association and Apple Cider Festival Committee.9 to 11 a.m.: Chalk on the Walk, (registration from 9 to 10 a.m.; draw from 10 to 11 a.m.; prizes at noon), sponsored by Cavalier Credit Union.9 to 11 a.m.: Flower show entries accepted, career center.10 a.m.: Henn Workshop tour.10 a.m. to noon: Car registration.10 a.m. to 2 p.m: Free blood pressure and eye screening by Doctors of Ohio Eye Alliance, sponsored by Lordstown Lions Club.10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Career center hair-a-thon by cosmetology department.11 a.m.: Children's tractor pull, sponsored by Lordstown Country Kennel and Bill Blank.Noon to 3 p.m.: Car show with music by DJ Crazy Dave.Noon to 5 p.m.: Ride special.Noon to 8 p.m.: Craft show and quilt show, career center.1 to 5 p.m.: Open house at old one-room schoolhouse, Founder's Park.1:30 p.m.: Little Prince and Princess Contest, entertainment tent.2 to 7 p.m.: Lordstown Lions Bingo, tent.3 p.m.: Mini-modified tractor pulls, sponsored by North Star Truck Equipment and Whitestone Supply Co.4 to 7 p.m.: Lordstown Athletic Boosters spaghetti dinner, career center.10 p.m.: Zambelli Fireworks of New Castle.
