YOUNGSTOWN -- Jennifer Lyn DeChellis and Ronald L. Houser Jr., both of Youngstown, were married at noon July 28 at St. Columba Cathedral. Monsignor Lawrence Fye officiated.
After a reception at McMenamy's in Niles, they left on a cruise to the eastern Caribbean.
The daughter of Charlotte Shonce-Benson of Warren and the late Jacob DeChellis and the son of Ronald and Andrea Houser of Austintown live in Austintown.
The bride's white silk gown was enhanced with lace, pearls and sequins.
Pewter gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Deana DeChellis, the bride's sister, and Kristin Houser, the groom's sister. Gowned in silver were the bridesmaids, Jami Gilbert, his sister; Ashllee Gollner, Jackie Dunnigan, Heather Barbus and Candice Nuzzo, his cousins; and Annie DeChellis, her cousin. Flower girl was Madeson Snyder.
Best men were Daniel Gilmartin and the groom's cousin, John Reszke. Groomsmen were his brother-in-law, James Gilbert; his cousins, Duke Dunningan and Russell Houser; Matt Glenellen; Scott Bundy; and her cousin, Tommy DeChellis. The usher was her brother, John DeChellis.
The bride and groom graduated with bachelor's degrees from Youngstown State University, where they are pursuing master's degrees in environmental engineering. She is a laboratory supervisor with Polar Minerals Inc. in Wellsville, and he is a regulatory specialist with Dobson Cellular Systems Inc. in Boardman.
