NILES -- Performances of Trumbull County's third annual Merry Tuba Christmas have been scheduled for noon and 2 p.m. Saturday in Eastwood Mall's main concourse.
Boardman Band Director Wesley O'Connor is conducting the event for his third year, along with guest conductor John Turk, director of Youngstown State University's Dana School of Music.
The event, which officials said features hundreds of tenor and bass tuba players, is held in more than 180 cities and several countries.
Spectators are encouraged to bring bells to play and sing along.
Tuba players are wanted.
