State, county and federal agencies; schools; the U.S. Postal Service; and financial institutions will be closed Thanksgiving Day. Here is the remainder of the holiday weekend schedule.
City offices: Youngstown and Salem, open Friday; Warren and Niles, closed Friday; Sharon, closed Friday and Monday; New Castle, closed Friday.
County offices: Mahoning and Columbiana, open Friday; Trumbull, Mercer and Lawrence, closed Friday.
State offices: Bureau of Employment Services, open Friday.
Mail delivery: U.S. Post Office, Youngstown, open Friday.
Public/parochial schools: Youngstown, Youngstown Diocese, Warren City and Salem, closed Friday; Sharon and New Castle, closed Friday and Monday.
Universities: Youngstown State and Kent State Trumbull Campus, closed Friday.
Western Reserve Transit Authority: Regular schedule Friday.
Public libraries: Youngstown-Mahoning County, open Friday. Warren-Trumbull, open Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday.
Stock market: Butler Wick & amp; Co., open Friday, but stock market closes at 1 p.m. and bond market at 2 p.m.
Banks: National City of Ohio, Farmers National Bank, First Place Bank of Warren, Second National Bank of Warren, Cortland Bank and National City of Pennsylvania, all open Friday.
Trash collection: Browning-Ferris Industries of Ohio, Youngstown District Waste Management, Warren City Environmental Services, all closed Thursday; one-day delay the rest of the week.
