SHARON, Pa. -- Antonio D. White, 21, of George Street was in Mercer County Jail on $100,000 bond Friday after his arrest on charges of criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and violation of a protection from abuse court order.
White surrendered to police around 3 p.m. Thursday, about three hours after he was alleged to have severely beaten a former girlfriend at her home on Mesabi Street.
The 18-year-old victim was admitted to Sharon Regional Health System's hospital with facial bone fractures, police said. White was held overnight and arraigned before District Justice James McMahon.
