GIRARD -- The Rev. Martin Susko officiated at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 at St. Rose Church for the wedding ceremony of Angela Pettenati and Frank Restaino.
Parents of the couple are Robert and Sandra Pettenati, 929 Champion St., Champion, and Mario and Anna Restaino, 38 Navajo Trail.
Guests greeted the newlyweds afterward at a reception at McMenamy's in Niles, and the couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba. They are residing in North Carolina.
The bride wore a white A-line gown designed with a scalloped off-the-shoulder neckline. It was embellished with sequins and pearls.
Her sister, Kathryn Pettenati, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Leesa Rutkowski; Nicole Pettenati, also the bride's sister; Julie Shepker; Wendy Forbes; Sandra Restaino, the groom's sister; and Christine Deaner. They wore plum-colored gowns.
Anthony Restaino performed the duties of best man for his cousin, and serving as groomsmen were Vito, Michael and Frank Restaino, also the groom's cousins; Mark Knafels; Anthony Marino; and Troy Evans.
The bride holds a medical degree from Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine and is a resident at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C.
Mr. Restaino attended Youngstown State University and is an information analyst with Electronic Data Systems in North Carolina.
