Evansville starters: Tobias Brinkley, 6-5 junior forward; Larry Ferguson, 6-6 junior forward; Dan Lytle, 6-10 sophomore center; Mark Allaria, 6-2 senior guard; Clint Cuffle, 6-6 sophomore guard.
Scouting reports: The Penguins finished last season with a 19-11 record and will be playing in a new conference this season as they prepare for the Horizon League season in January. YSU has one exhibition game under its belt, a 118-82 victory over the Argentina Select team, in which the Penguins shot 61 percent from the floor. Underwood led the way with 30 points. He is the first true freshman to start for the Penguins since Anthony Camuso in 1996. Evansville also has an exhibition win under its belt beating Sports is All-Stars 106-103. The Purple Aces were 14-16 last season, but were 10-4 at Roberts Stadium.

YSU starters: Maggie Johnston, 5-5 junior guard; Cathy Hanek, 5-8 sophomore guard; Jenny Horner, 6-2 senior center; Jen Perugini, 6-2 freshman forward; Heather Harris, 6-0 sophomore forward.
Bowling Green starters: Lindsay Austin, 5-7 sophomore guard; Kim Griech, 5-7 junior guard; Pam Brown, 6-0 sophomore center; Francine Miller, 5-11 senior forward; Dana Western-Schuka, 5-11 senior forward.
Scouting reports: The Penguins were 10-18 last season, but played most of the season without top scorer Brianne Kenneally. This season the Penguins are a young team with only three seniors and have several freshmen who should contribute immediately. YSU defeated the Ohio Legends All-Stars 89-84 in an exhibition game Wednesday. Junior transfer Maggie Johnston led with 25 points, while sophomore Heather Harris added 20.
The series: Bowling Green leads 9-6 and has won eight of the last nine meetings, including a 95-88 decision last year.
