OH CHRISTMAS TREE

Published: Sat, November 10, 2001 @ 12:00 a.m.

Associated Press

FIREWOOD: A foreman for the Ohio City of Troy Parks Department, John Montgomery, slices the remaining branches off the Christmas tree on the Public Square. Mike Byrne, of the Public Works Department, assists in the background. A tractor-trailer struck a light pole, which then fell on one of the wires supporting the city's Christmas tree Thursday night. The city hopes to replace the tree Monday.
