Corbett is closing in on the school record for career tackles set by Scott Fraser (330) from 1991-94.

The previous record of 3,150 was set by Bobby Starks in 1989. Derrick Paes, a senior linebacker for Hiram from Springfield High, had 10.5 tackles to lead Hiram's defense.

Scouting report: Thiel outlasted Kenyon last week, 50-35, while Gannon lost to Lincoln University (Mo.), 32-31. Thiel's Kennard Davis, a freshman free safety from Farrell High, was named PAC Defensive Player of the Week for his sparkling performance against Kenyon. Davis came up with five tackles and two interceptions, including an 85-yard TD run. Davis now has a school-record nine interceptions for the season. Justin Napotnik, a sophomore running back from Sharpsville High, rushed for 151 yards in 21 carries and two TDs.
