Salem companiescontract with Army

SALEM -- Two Salem companies have signed contracts with the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense said.

Miller-Holzwarth has a five-year, $7.51 million contract with a first-year payment of $155,730. It will provide fire control equipment to an Army facility in Rock Island, Ill. Haltec Corp. will provide vehicular valve stems to a facility in Texarkana, Texas, for $114,960.
