ADVISORIES

XChampion Parents Advisory will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the high school media center.

ASSOCIATIONS

XWestern Reserve IBM (and Compatible) Personal Computer Association will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeview High School, Second Floor, Room 219.

XYoungstown Panhellenic Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Boardman Library. The program will be "Fitness Fun." Reservations are necessary. Call Leilani Drake at (330) 758-3751 for information.

AUXILIARIES

XThe ITAM Club Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the clubrooms with Sarah Cheredar presiding. Hostesses will be Anita Euceano and Phyllis Zizzo.

BOOSTERS

XSouthington Athletic Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the high school library.

CLUBS

XPat Chamberlain and Shelby Hill will be hostesses when Austintown II Homemakers meets at the home of Margaret Kollmorgan at 10 a.m. Thursday. Trudy Ponevac will preside, and Mrs. Kollmorgan will lead a workshop in the making of Christmas money holders.

XCalon Lan Welsh Club will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Georgeanna Parker Activity Center in Boardman Township Park. Anyone interested in their Welsh heritage may attend. Mary Lou Foht will preside. For information call Esther Jean Towns, (330) 788-3474.

XFriends of Boardman Library will meet Nov. 12 at the library. The social will start at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting at 10. Speaker will be Wendell Lauth. Guests are welcome, and no reservations are needed.

XGirard Junior Women will meet at 6:15 p.m. Thursday at Vernon's Cafe, Route 422, Niles. Members will be contacted for reservations. The group will make theme baskets that will be filled with donations from members and raffle tickets and sold to the public for $5 each as a fund-raiser.

XLe Cercle Francais will sponsor two events in observance of National French Week, Nov. 11-17. A poetry reading by Dr. Renee Linkhorn will be at 4 p.m. Nov. 11 at Barnes and Noble Booksellers at The Shops at Boardman Park. She also will discuss her editing and translating work with Dr. Judy Cochran on "Belgian Women Poets: An Anthology." The film, "Charles and Lucie," a sentimental comedy about a Parisian couple who are swindled, will be screened at 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at Boardman Library. XWomen's Connection will hold a "Fan-Tastic" luncheon at noon Nov. 13 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre in Youngstown. Cost is $6.50, and reservations or cancellations must be made by noon Friday by calling (330) 793-8655 or (330) 793-9525. Guest speaker will be Bill Rotar, and a program on sporting goods will be presented by Wayne Bokrkasti.

FRATERNAL GROUPS

XWest Farmington Knights of Pythias will hold its family night and supper at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the K. of P. Hall.

POLITICAL CLUBS

XStruthers Federated Democratic Women will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Struthers City Hall. Dorothy McLaughlin will preside, and hostesses will be Lee Polis and Eleanor Gentile.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

XChildren of Israel Sisterhood will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 11 at Children of Israel Temple, 3970 1/2 Logan Way. Speaker will be Susan Reblan of Warren, whose topic will be how children with cleft palates are being helped. She participated in the Operation Smile Project to the Philippines. SINGLES

XCatholic Alumni Club of Youngstown Inc. will meet for election of officers Nov. 18 at Sacred Heart Retreat House, Logan Way, Youngstown. Mass will be at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 6:30. There will be wine tasting at 7 sponsored by Ohio Wine Producers Association. Reservations must be made by Nov. 13. SORORITIES

XGamma Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will meet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Boardman Library. Hostess will be Barb Mauch, and the topic will be "What's Hot Educationally Within Our Group."

SUPPORT GROUPS

XSusan Bailes, director of nutrition services at AustinWoods Health Care Center, will speak at a meeting of the Arthritis Support Group at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at AustinWoods. She will present a cooking demonstration on a modified holiday diet. For information call Cheryl Palkovic, (330) 792-7681.

XFred Childress Greater Mahoning Valley Parkinson's Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Western Reserve United Methodist Church. Hosts will be John and Irene Nock and Gloria Bondor. Refreshments will be served first followed by the speaker, Erica Thomas, wellness coordinator for Shepherd of the Valley, on nutrition. There will be no social lunch in November. The Christmas buffet lunch will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 13, and sign-ups will be taken at Thursday's meeting. If dues for 2000 have not been paid there will be a charge of $6 per meal.

XL.O.S.S. will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital Wellness Connection.

XMahoning County Victims of Crime support group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at New Beginnings Outreach Ministries, 433 Wick Ave. Refreshments will be provided.

XThe Parkinson Support Group of Trumbull County will meet at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Christ Episcopal Church, Warren. An audiologist or speech pathologist will speak. For information call (330) 856-4286.

XSecond Wind Support Group will meet at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Denny's restaurant, Boardman. A representative of Home Care Solutions will have an AIM machine on hand to test whether patients are taking medications correctly. Participants should take donations for the Thanksgiving dinner or drop them off at the Second Wind office, 925 Trailwood Drive, Boardman. For information call (330) 726-0502.

VETERANS

XCatholic War Veterans Paul Sgambati Post 1903 and the Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the parish house meeting room.

XNorth Coast WAVES, United 21 of Waves National, will meet at 11 a.m. Nov. 10 at the 356th Fighter Group Restaurant, Akron/Canton Airport for a program on "We Remember Them." Reservations are due today for the luncheon and can be made by calling (330) 757-7827. For more information call (330) 726-0900.
