SUMMER READING Lawrence County

What: Animal Odyssey, a free kickoff to summer reading programs at the county libraries.

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Where: Cascade Park, New Castle.

Who: All children and their parents are invited to attend.

Attractions: Living Treasures Animal Park, the Pittsburgh Museum of Natural History and National Aviary, and many costumed storybook characters. There will be free refreshments, books, bus transportation in New Castle and T-shirts or water bottles to the first 500 children.
