POLICE CALLS

Liberty, Girard, Hubbard

Summary of police activity:

LIBERTY

May 8

Theft: A car window was broken and a CD player was stolen in the 4000 block of Logangate Road.

Criminal damaging: An apartment window was broken in the 3000 block of Hadley Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A rear tire of a car was slashed in the 1000 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road.

Theft: A male suspect stole four cartons of cigarettes worth$117 from the BP station.

Theft: Someone stole a suitcase, a laptop computer, clothing and toiletries totaling $4,355 from a room in the Holiday Inn.

May 9

Theft-forgery: PSI Inc., 1057 Trumbull Ave., reported the theft of 120 personal checks, which were cashed for a total of $1,934, and the theft of three Fleet service credit cards with $1,400 in purchases charged to them.

Break-in: A garage was broken into in the 4000 block of Crew-Hood Road.

Criminal damaging: The gas tank cover of a car was pried open, causing $50 in damages at Liberty Health Care, 1355 Church HillRd.

May 10

Theft: About $100 worth of damages was caused to a window and the steering column of a car in the 1000 block of Naylor-Lloyd Road, and a CD player was stolen.

Criminal damaging: A car windshield was punched, causing $400 in damages at Choices nightclub.

May 11

Theft: A vehicle in the 30 block of James Lane had $200 in damages to the rear window, and a stun gun, CDs and a stereo system were stolen. Total value was $2,920.

May 12

Criminal damaging: The rear license plate and driver's side window of a vehicle were spray-painted in the first block of Craig Drive.

May 13

Aggravated robbery: A pizza delivery boy was held up while delivering to a home in the 3000 block of Northgate Road.

Criminal damaging: The fender of a car was spray-painted in the 30 block of Louise Lane.

May 14

Criminal damaging: A car in the 10 block of Holly Drive had $200 in damages to a rear passenger window.

GIRARD

May 8

Theft: A CD player and 20 CDs were stolen from a car in the 40 block of Cheyenne Drive.

Theft: A CD player, a tool box, a Master Card, Visa card and $20 were stolen from a car in the 400 block of Joan Avenue.

May 10

Vandalism: The windshield wipers were stolen from a car in the 100 block of South Davis.

May 12

Theft: Money and a cellular telephone were stolen from a car at Paul's Trailer Park, 605 Trailer Ave.

May 13

Theft: Fifty-five CDs were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Broadview Drive.

May 15

Criminal damaging: A door was broken at the Tod Park baseball field, 100 West Main St.

Theft: Four bikes were stolen from a home in the 500 block of Stull Avenue.

HUBBARD

May 10

Theft: $35 worth ofgas was stolen at the Hubbard Gas and Mini Mart.

May 11

Theft: A handicap placard was stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Saul Drive.

Vandalism: A sink was torn from a bathroom wall in Hubbard Laundromat.

May 13

Theft: A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Elmwood Drive.
