Poland fighters tough

Nine Poland High boxers won bouts to set a record Wednesday at the quarterfinals of the 14th annual KO Drugs High School Tournament at old Liberty High School. C5

State qualifiers

Shalin Shah and Chris Kuppler of Canfield High and Kevin and Ryan Trapp of Howland advanced to the semifinals in the Division I district tennis tournament at Tri-City Park. They are also assured of advancing to the state tournament next week in Columbus. C3

Glenn pleads innocent

New England Patriots receiver Terry Glenn pleaded innocent Wednesday to a charge that he assaulted the mother of his 5-year-old son during an argument. A pretrial conference was set for July 17, just 10 days before Patriots veterans are scheduled to report to training camp. Glenn, who played at Ohio State, was also charged with intimidation of a witness.
