The Struthers Rec Center Youth Organization will be among the club projects to benefit from the event.
HUBBARD -- Struthers Rotary Club will sponsor its 14th annual golf outing June 1 at Pine Lakes Golf Course.
Proceeds will benefit the Youth Organization of the Rec Center in Struthers and other club projects.
The event will get under way at 9 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast. A shotgun start is scheduled for 11 with hot sausage sandwiches at the turn. A chicken and rib barbecue is planned after golf.
Tournament prizes: Prizes will include a two-year vehicle lease for a hole-in-one on No. 6; $10,000 for a hole-in-one on No. 14; and $5,000 grocery-shopping spree for a hole-in-one on No. 16.
Individual awards will be given for closest to the pin on Nos. 3, 6, 14 and 16; longest putt on No. 8; shortest drive on No. 9; and longest drive on No. 18. There also will be team awards of $400 for first place, $200 for second and $100 for third. Door prizes will be awarded and a 50/50 raffle held.
Sponsorship levels are $80 per player, $300 per four-man team and $425 per four-man team plus hole sponsor. Cost is $25 for dinner only and $150 for hole sponsor only.
