JOHN FAMOR, 85


GIRARD -- Services were this morning at McClurkin Funeral Home for John Famor, 85, of 325 Iowa Ave., who died of renal failure Tuesday morning at home.
Mr. Famor was born Sept. 11, 1915, in Youngstown, a son of Nicholas and Anna Kulik Famor, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a conductor for Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Railroad for 40 years, retiring in 1980. He was also a carpenter in Campbell and a cook and conservationist for the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a member of St. Rose Church and St. George Croatian Lodge.
His wife, the former Barbara A. Novacich, whom she married June 28, 1941, died Dec. 13, 1991.
He leaves a son, John M., and a daughter, Madeline Roth-Perell, both of Niles; a sister, Helen Radilovic of Struthers; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Alec, George and Nick, and a sister, Margaret Millard, are deceased.
