HELEN L. DAILEY, 89

BOARDMAN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Charles Church for Helen L. Dailey, 89, of 64 Forest Garden Drive, who died Wednesday afternoon at her residence.

Mrs. Dailey was born Feb. 24, 1912, in Youngstown, a daughter of John O. and Anna Hyland Mahan, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a charter member of St. Dominic Church, and was a member of the first graduating class of St. Dominic School in 1924. She remained an active member for more than 60 years before joining St. Charles Church.

She belonged to Junior Seton, the Gay-Ho Club and the Chatauqua Card Club. She was a founding member of the Mahoning Valley Gaelic Society.

Her husband, James Quinn Dailey, whom she married Nov. 27, 1934, died March 13, 1979.

She leaves four daughters, Linda Watkins, Sister Rose Dailey, O.S.U., and M. Virginia Dailey Rubenstahl, all of Boardman, and Janet L. Goodwin of Columbia, S.C.; and nine grandchildren.

Three sisters, Myrtle Whalen, Isabelle Tucci and Rosemary Vesy, and two brothers, John and William Mahan, are deceased.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to The Ursuline Mother House, 4250 Shields Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
