YOUNGSTOWN -- A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home for Athelius Lamark Green, 32, of Columbus, formerly of Youngstown, who was pronounced dead Saturday in Columbus. The Franklin County coroner's ruling is pending.
Mr. Green was born June 20, 1968, in Youngstown, a daughter of George E. II and Mary L. Spires Green, and moved to Columbus seven years ago.
A 1988 graduate of South High School, he attended Harding Business College. He was attending DeVry Institute of Technology in Columbus and was working for Plasko Lite for seven years. He attended Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church.
Besides his mother and father of Youngstown, he leaves three brothers, George E. Green III, Kevin L. Green Sr. and Alonzo J. Green Sr., all of Youngstown; and grandparents, Bessie Spires of Youngstown, and Charles and Rosie Pixley in Massachusetts.
His grandfather, Rev. John K. Spires Sr., and grandmother, Beatrice Ivy, are deceased.
