STRUTHERS -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home for Maxine A. Wise, 87, of 41 Como St., who died Tuesday morning at home.
Mrs. Wise was born May 10, 1913, in Lowellville, a daughter of Joseph and Florence Fenstermacher Johnson, and came to Struthers in 1926.
She was a homemaker and worked at the former Park Dress Shop in Struthers.
She was a member of Struthers Presbyterian Church and a charter member of its Fireside Sunday School class. She was member of National AARP and charter member of Local AARP 3105, and was a volunteer for Youngstown Hospital Association and served as an election worker for the Mahoning County Board of Elections for many years.
Her husband, Lewis L., whom she married April 10, 1934, died May 14, 1980.
She leaves a daughter, Linda Ricketts, with whom she made her home; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A son, Jerry L.; a sister, Marion Yaumann; and a brother, Gove M. Johnson, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
