BERNICE M. BROWNLEE, 75

NORTH LIMA -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Coitsville Presbyterian Church for Bernice M. Brownlee, 75, of 9800 Market St., formerly of Cover Drive in Poland, who died Tuesday evening in Forum Health Northside Medical Center after a brief illness.

Miss Brownlee was born Jan. 3, 1926, in Coitsville, a daughter of Clifford and Mabel Cooper Brownlee, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a recorder for Youngstown State University for 40 years and retired in 1987, and was a member and elder of the church, where she also served as organist, Sunday school teacher and was a member of its choir for 50 years.

She was also a member of YSU Women's Retirees and YSU Retired associations, the B.U.R.P. Club and was a volunteer for Hospice of the Valley and member of its Friends Forever Group.

She leaves several nieces and nephews.

Three sisters, Ruth G. and Genevieve Brownlee, and Catherine J. Mesaros; and a brother, Atty. Jay C. Brownlee, are deceased.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home, Hubbard. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley or the church memorial fund.
