WALTER N. LEWIS, 68

OIL CITY, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery Chapel in Sharon for Walter N. Lewis, 68, of Florida City, Fla., formerly of Oil City, who died Saturday morning in Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Asheville, N.C.

Mr. Lewis was born Jan. 7, 1933, in Oil City, a son of William T. and Anna Mae Bell Lewis.

A 1950 graduate of Miami-Edison High School in Miami, Fla., he was an insulator with Asbestos Local 60 in Miami for 45 years and served in the Army during the Korean War.

Among others, he leaves his wife, the former Barbara Lorence, whom he married June 24, 1967.

Two brothers, Billy and Richard D., are deceased.

There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home, Sharon.
