CAMPBELL -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Lucy Church here for Nino Pasquale DiPiero, 78, of 642 Dumont Ave., who died Monday evening at home.
Mr. DiPiero was born Dec. 19, 1922, in Bugnara, Italy, a son of Nunzio and Maria Antonelli DiPiero.
He worked in the seamless department of Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube for 24 years and had been a tailor for Romito, Cappelli, and Hartzell, Rose & amp; Son.
He was a member of the church and its Bugnara Society, and was a prisoner of war while serving in the Italian Army during World War II.
His first wife, the former Anna Mattei, whom he married in 1957, died Jan. 13, 1976.
Besides his wife, the former Frances Bianco, whom he married July 7, 1984, he leaves a son, Dan of Boardman; a daughter, Norma Finney of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a stepson, Lou Vellenti of Sharon; a stepdaughter, Nadine Vellenti-Shimshock of Farrell; two sisters, Angelina DiBacco and Enia Venti, both of Bugnara; and eight grandchildren.
A brother, Rev. Danile DiPiero, is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fabrizio Funeral Home, Youngstown, where a prayer service will be at 4:45 p.m.
