LEAVITTSBURG -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Warren, for George Mark Zerefos, 71, of 3114 Eagle Creek Road, who died Tuesday morning in St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.
Mr. Zerefos was born May 5, 1929, in Leavittsburg, a son of Mark and Maria Moschu Zerefos, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a high-lift operator for Packard Electric for 30 years and was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of Believers Christian Fellowship Church in Warren and enjoyed traveling.
His wife, the former Margaret Permalda, whom he married July 5, 1957, died July 29, 1997.
He leaves a son, Mark A. of Braceville; a daughter, Barbara M. Driscoll of Fayetteville, N.C.; a stepson, Ernest E. Votaw of Holmes Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Steve and Nick, both of Warren; a sister, Mary Kontos of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren.
A sister, Effie Karavolos, is deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
