EDNA F. PAYNE, 69

CANFIELD -- A memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. May 12 in St. Michael Church here for Edna F. Payne, 69, of LaGardena, Edgewater, Fla., formerly of Canfield, who died Thursday in Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Payne was born April 17, 1932, in Queens, N.Y., a daughter of Edward and Florence Feeney. She moved to Edgewater in 1997 from Canfield.

She was office secretary for the Arizona Child Protective Services Department in Page, Ariz., and worked for Alba House in St. Paul Monastery in Arizona. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Smyrna Beach.

Besides her husband of 47 years, William C., she leaves three sons, William C. Jr. of Prescott, Ariz., Mark E. of Poway, Calif., and David J. of Chardon; two daughters, Lisa Wolf of Youngstown and Laurie Beebe of Peoria, Ariz.; three sisters, Eleanor Wayne of Daytona Beach, Ann Sadoff of Alexandria, Va., and Cathy Rees of Canfield; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.A sister is deceased.

There are no calling hours. Services were Saturday in Sacred Heart Church, New Smyrna Beach. Arrangements are by Dudley Funeral Home, New Smyrna Beach.
