AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, Morgantown, W.Va., for Deloris J. Smith, 56, of 718 Regal Drive, who died of cancer Monday in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Smith was born June 19, 1944, in Stouts Mills, W.Va., a daughter of Carl and Zoa West Straub, and came to this area in 1984.
She was a homemaker and had worked for C & amp;P Telephone Co. in Morgantown for nearly 20 years.
Besides her husband, Richard D., whom she married in November 1984, she leaves a daughter, Marilyn Herrington of Morgantown; two stepsons, Ralph Smith of Laurel Bay, S.C., and Richard Smith of Youngstown; two stepdaughters, Amy Smith of Tampa, Fla., and Melissa Pospiech of Port Richey, Fla.; a sister, Edith E. Straub of Morgantown; and 12 grandchildren, including her granddaughter, Brandy Golleher of Austintown, whom she reared and with whom she made her home.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown, and from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Morgantown.
