Angels' open house

GREENFORD -- There will be an open house at Angels for Animals, 6801 Green Valley Drive, from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. In addition to adoptions there will be a Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle and refreshments. For information, call (330) 533-5577.

Open houses planned

WARREN -- Valley Counseling Services will have open houses from 3 to 6 p.m. May 10 at the southeastern office, 4970 Belmont Ave., Liberty, and May 22 at its children's office at 318 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. A plaque will be unveiled at 4 p.m. May 22, and the Warren facility will be renamed for president and chief executive Alvin W. Beynon for 30 years of service to the agency.
