ANDOVER -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, Andover, for Lyda E. Sisson, 87, of 6450 Crystal Lake Road, formerly of Andover, who died Saturday at the Inn Madison, Madison, Ohio.
Mrs. Sisson was born July 20, 1913, in Fort Myers, Fla., a daughter of Ira and Carrie Sailor Loe, and lived in this area since 1976.
She worked for Burrows Stores in Cleveland for many years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of First Congregational Church and the 55 & amp; Over Club, both in Andover, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She volunteered with the Auxiliary Smoke Stacks of the Andover Volunteer Fire Department.
Her husband, William E., whom she married July 1, 1936, died May 21, 1990.
She leaves a son, Roger E. of Madison; her twin sister, Lyla L. Reeves of Bradenton, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Kathryn J. Sisson, and a sister, Lois Mullen, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
