JOHN M. DUNCHAK, 83

CANFIELD -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Campbell, for John M. Dunchak, 83, of 256 Fairview Ave., formerly of Hillsville, who died Sunday at The Greenbriar.

Mr. Dunchak was born Dec. 26, 1917, in Hillsville, a son of John and Mary Solveski Dunchak.

He retired in 1982 as general foreman for Carbon Limestone, where he worked 46 years. A member of the church, he was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the Central European Theater and earning four Bronze Stars.

His wife, the former Marian Forgac, whom he married Dec. 26, 1943, died Dec. 2, 1999.

He leaves two sons, Theodore and Russell, both of Canfield; two brothers, Joseph of Campbell and Andrew of Lowellville; three sisters, Stephanie Centofante of Poland, Irene Finemore in Maryland, and Olga Miletta of Lowellville; and a granddaughter.

A sister, Eleanor Dunchak, is deceased.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the services Wednesday in the church.

Arrangements are by Lane Funeral Home, Canfield.
