NILES -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Stephen Church, for Frank A. Csiszar, 83, of 503 Peffer St., who died Monday at the home of his daughter in Youngstown after a one-year illness.
Mr. Csiszar was born May 17, 1917, in Midland, Pa., a son of Gabor and Elizabeth Kurtz Csiszar. He came to Niles in 1949 from Midland. He retired in 1973 as a millwright for U. S. Steel McDonald Works after 24 years. He was a member of the church and was an Army veteran of World War II. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and mechanical work.
His wife, the former Linda Sirbuly, whom he married Dec. 16, 1948, died May 16, 1982.
He leaves a daughter, Susan Holt of Youngstown; a brother, Albert Csiszar of Cincinnati; two sisters, Helen Wagner of Glenshaw, Pa., and Erma Dauer of Ambridge, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Two brothers, Joseph and Garriel Csiszar, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
